Welcome to Witness by Reel Human (the "App"). By using Witness, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App immediately.
1. Use of the App
- Witness enables users to capture, cryptographically sign, and verify authentic media.
- You may use the App for lawful personal or professional purposes.
- You are responsible for any media you capture, create, or share.
- You may not misuse the App or attempt to bypass or manipulate authenticity protections.
2. Intellectual Property
- The App and its technology are owned by Reel Human LLC.
- "Witness" and "Reel Human" are trademarks of Reel Human LLC.
- You may not copy, reverse engineer, or distribute the App except where allowed by law.
3. User Content
- You retain full ownership of the photos and videos you capture.
- Witness embeds metadata (timestamps, signatures, device info) inside files to attest authenticity — you control these files.
- You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with all applicable laws.
4. Third-Party Services
The App may interact with platform services (e.g., device storage, share menus). These are governed by their respective terms and policies.
5. Limitations of Service
- Witness relies on device integrity, security certificates, and communication with Reel Human verification services.
- We may modify or suspend features for security, maintenance, or operational reasons.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Reel Human LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Your sole remedy is to stop using the App.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reel Human LLC from any claims arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or applicable laws.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.
