• Embedded Metadata: The App embeds cryptographic information (device + operator signature, timestamps) into the media file. This metadata is stored within the file itself and not collected by us.
• Optional Feedback: If you choose to provide feedback, we may collect your name, email, and comments.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide the core functionality of the App: cryptographically signing captured media.
• To improve the App, if you voluntarily provide feedback.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

• All captures are stored locally on your device unless you choose to share or export them.
• We take reasonable measures to protect data you voluntarily provide (such as feedback).

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not use advertising networks, analytics tools, or third-party SDKs that collect personal information.

5. Your Choices

• You control your captured content; it is never automatically uploaded to us.
• You can delete any media and its metadata directly from your device.

6. Children's Privacy

Witness is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. Updates will be posted here with a new “Effective Date.”
